Some legal issues that arise include contract negotiation (for employment in an acting or entertaining role, or advising on a book writing contract with a publisher), intellectual property issues (such as ownership of a script or the rights to use it, or the use of an actor’s name, likeness or image to promote a product or organisation), payment of fees, and recording contracts.

Paul has provided advice to the Australian Drama Agents’ Association, and through this work has had dealings with a number of Melbourne’s top drama agencies and agents.
